With heavy hearts, we announce that Gilbert passed away on December 28, 2025, at the age of 71.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years, Yvonne in 2022; and survived by his children, Daniel (Viveen), Monique (Mario) and Chantal; grandchildren, Alexandria, Liam and Jasmina; siblings, Lucille, Yolande, Roger, Paul and Michel; extended family and friends.

In accordance with Gilbert’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 1396 Plessis Road, Winnipeg, MB at Abundant Life Baptist Church.
